The Challenge: William's Shoes hired Farenthold Consulting to grow their existing website into a full-service e-commerce store and content management system. They also needed a full website redesign to better convey their sophisticated products to their upscale market.
The Solution: FC was up to the challenge and we put our best foot forward. The first hurdle was to create a store that encompassed many different shoe manufacturers and brands under one online roof. This was accomplished by leaving a space in each category for custom advertising from each manufacturer. From this selection page, the customer is able to see a list of shoes and view detailed images of each item. Ordering is a snap (or click of the heel), just select one or more items, drop the item in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. The order is automatically sent to William's Shoes with all shipping and credit card information attached. Since the launch of this site in 2000, William's Shoes has increased their online sales 300%. We're proud to have made an appealing site with so much sole.
