What is Farenthold?
Is it a form of measurement, a new atomic particle, or perhaps an exotic eastern religion? Actually, it's just our boss's last name, but we'll take any interesting suggestions.
Farenthold Consulting opened its doors in 1997 with much enthusiasm, excitement, and a little trepidation. Over the years we have created websites and set-up networks for a multitude of companies and organizations which are still doing business with us today.
All this work earned us three things; experience, respect, and more than a few late nights. The one thing that has stayed true throughout the years is that "We love what we do," which is essentially using technology to help clients solve problems and work more efficiently. So, if a client confuses our name with a Greco Roman wrestling move, we don't mind, as long as they're happy with the end result.
Behind the Curtain
Blake Farenthold - President
The head honcho, Blake Farenthold, started his love affair with technology when everybody else was still figuring out their 8 tracks. Blake runs the day to day operations of the business and is involved in all aspects of the Networking and Web Design departments. He is a licensed attorney, has a background in broadcasting, and is a frequent speaker on technology topics for various professional organizations, continuing education seminars, and radio talk-shows.
Michael Rauen – Network Technician
Michael is our go-to guy. If we need a project worked on or just need our computers fixed we get Michael to look at it. Michael is our Network Engineer and consults on all of our technical projects. He's the guy our technical clients see the most. His expertise is in Novell NetWare products, but is equally adept in Windows NT. During the day he's either at a client's office or he's in the tech room messing around with the equipment in the back.

Bruce Averyheart – Network Technician
Bruce's enthusiasm and work ethic alone endears him to our clients, but it's his thorough knowledge of networks and computer systems that give him an edge when solving technology problems. Bruce is an MCSE and Citrix professional, as well as working on his master diver and emergency rescue certification, which makes him a very valuable man to be around.

Ivy Harris – Project Manager
Ivy is the glue that binds the company together. She is the direct contact to clients and manages the flow of work coming in and out of the departments each day. Her background includes nine years of combined advertising and web design, working with key national accounts including Tommy Hilfiger, FedEx, IBM, Don King Productions and Nabisco. Truly a Jack of all Trades (or Jill), Ivy does much of the creative production that FC undertakes.
Cody Estes – Senior Programmer
Although he claims anonymity, we as well as our satisfied clients, think that Cody's ability to design and program custom sites and intranets borders on genius. Cody makes the complicated web look and feel easy to the rest of us appreciative web users.
Nick Munro - Senior Designer
Nick produces many of the eye popping design and Flash animation that Farenthold is so proud of. Besides his incredible work, Nick occasionally brings doughnuts, which entices us to keep him around.
